
AKIPRESS.COM - Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Turkmenistan (based in Tashkent), Mr. Jaroslav Siro presented copies of his credentials to the Turkmen foreign minister.
The sides noted with satisfaction the high level of political cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Czech Republic. Expressing interest in the further development of relations in the political and diplomatic sphere, proposals were put forward for their further deepening. Noting the systemic nature of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries, the sides noted the importance of regular political consultations.
The parties expressed their commitment to further development of cooperation within the framework of authoritative international organizations; proposals were made to develop inter-parliamentary cooperation. Noting the fruitful experience and potential of trade and economic relations, the sides expressed their aspiration for their further diversification. The sides discussed the possibility of establishing close ties between the business structures of the two countries through the organization of joint forums.
In addition, during the talks the parties discussed prospects for the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as expanding relations in the field of education and sport. Stressing the focus on fruitful and effective cooperation, the Turkmen side expressed its readiness to render all assistance and support to the Ambassador's activities in the new post.
