AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved the Uzbek-Russian inter-governmental agreement on cooperation by signing the relevant decree on Thursday.
The agreement between the Governments of Uzbekistan and Russia on cooperation was signed on April 5 during the trip of Mirziyoyev in Russia.
The head of state ordered the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan to send the relevant notice to the Russian side on compliance of the country with the procedures necessary for entry of the agreement into force.
The document is aimed at expansion and development of the mutually beneficial interregional cooperation with Russia in trade-economic, scientific, agricultural, healthcare, tourist and other spheres.
