Khaltmaa Battulga sworn in as 5th president of Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM - Khaltmaa Battulga was sworn in as the 5th president of Mongolia on July 10, at the State House, the state news agency reported.

Battulga vowed to treasure Mongolia’s independence, freedom and national unity, honor the constitution, fulfill the duty of the President.

Battulga officially received the State Seal from the outgoing president Elbegdorj.

“Assuring the faith of Mongolian people, I have pledged my oath as the President of Mongolia. This is the highest hope and responsibility entrusted to me from the people and voters. Inheriting the noble chain of our ancestor’s tradition, I accept the call to strive for integrity for my people,” addressed President Battulga.

He thanked Mongolian people and wished the other presidential candidates and Elbegdorj successes in their further activities, Montsame reports.
