John Deere company's European office plans to launch distant video training for Turkmen engineers

AKIPRESS.COM - Specialists of a number of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan visited the leading machine-building enterprises in Germany, including the John Deere branches in Mannheim, Bruchsal and Zweibrücken, where they learned about the production process.

John Deere is an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment.  In 2016, it was listed as 97th in the Fortune 500 America's ranking and was ranked 364th in the global ranking in 2016. John Deere also provides financial services and other related activities.

The delegation was particularly interested in the Zweibrucken plant, which assembles combine harvesters, including John Deere W540. The specialists were introduced with the production technology in details.

Turkmen delegation also visited the European Technology and Innovation Center (ETIC) in Kaiserslautern. Training seminars on management of the John Deere equipment were organized for Turkmen specialists and a presentation of agricultural management was made.

The delegation also met with the head of the European office of John Deere to discuss partnership on the development of Turkmenistan agricultural sector, which relies on the latest scientific achievements, the latest technologies, innovative developments.

Representatives of the European office of the John Deere suggested the Turkmen side opening of a specialized educational center equipped with all necessary equipment for distant video training for engineers, technicians, machine operators and others.
