PM of Uzbekistan to visit Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov will visit to Kyrgyzstan to participate in the regular meetings of inter-governmental commissions that are set for August 15-17 in Cholpon-Ata town of Issyk-Kul region.

The respective information was announced after telephone talks between Kyrgyz Prime Minister Sooronbai Jeenbekov and his Uzbek counterpart.

The two discussed preparation for the sessions and inter-governmental commissions cooperation on delimitation and demarcation of Kyrgyz-Uzbek border.

Aripov expressed readiness of the Uzbek side to hold the Days of Uzbek Culture in Kyrgyzstan in October 2017. He also thanked the Kyrgyz side for timely medical assistance to Uzbek citizens wounded in a road accident in Issyk-Kul region on August 3.

Jeenbekov, in turn, thanked the Uzbek side for construction of the general education school for 630 pupils in the city of Osh.
