2 people die in plane crash in Almaty

AKIPRESS.COM - Two people died in a plane crash in Almaty on August 10, the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan reported.

According to preliminary reports, the aircraft fell at a distance of 2 km after take-off during the training mission today at 9:53 am local time, the statement said.

A pilot instructor and a cadet died as a result.

A footage shows the plane crash site near Almaty. The video was posted on Instagram.

The aircraft crashed near the apartment building and burned completely.
