More than 10 documents signed during Nazarbayev's visit to Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 10 cooperation documents were signed between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan as part of the state visit of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Uzbekistan.

The signed deals included an intergovernmental cooperation agreement in military and technical, oil and energy, industrial fields.

The State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan signed an agreement on fighting illegal drug trafficking and violations of the customs legislation. The railway companies of the two countries also signed the cooperation documents.

During the meeting, the heads of state discussed bilateral ties in the Kuksaroy state residence.

Additionally, Nazarbayev laid wreaths to the monument of Islam Karimov.
