AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev has expressed condolences to President of the United States Donald Trump over the deadly mass shooting at a music festival in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
Atambayev said Kyrgyzstan strongly condemns this inhumane act against the peaceful and innocent civilians and expressed words of sympathy to the relatives of victims.
According to the U.S. authorities, 59 people were killed and over 500 people were injured as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel toward an open-air music festival. Police believe that Paddock took his own life.
Police recovered 23 guns from his Las Vegas hotel room and another 19 guns from Paddock's home in Mesquite, Nevada, Clark County Assistant Sheriff Todd Fasulo said.
The incident was called the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history.
