AKIPRESS.COM - Russian State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin had a meeting at the Foreign Ministry with Zhanybek Imanaliyev, the new Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO).
The officials discussed Russian-Kazakhstani cooperation within the CSTO in the context of the upcoming Kazakhstani chairmanship in the organisation in 2018.
The meeting took place on October 3, according to the statement of Russian foreign ministry.
CSTO groups Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. Afghanistan and Serbia are non-member observer states.
