AKIPRESS.COM - The European Union signed an agreement with Mongolia on sending a diplomatic delegation to the country.

Mongolian Minister of Foreign affairs Damdin Tsogtbaatar and EU Ambassador to Mongolia Hans Dietmar Schweisgut inked the accord in a ceremony at the Government Palace in Ulaanbaatar, Xinhua reports.

A EU delegation to Ulaanbaatar marks significant progress in bilateral relations between Mongolia and the EU, said D. Tsogtbaatar.

There will be a wider range of opportunities for building up bilateral cooperation in all sectors in the future, said Schweisgut.
