AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh met with Aisholpan Nurgaiv, that famous ethnic Kazakh eagle huntress in Mongolia.

N.Aisholpan studies in the 11th grade at the Zayed Secondary School of Ulgii soum, Bayan-Ulgii aimag. She recently received the Asia Game Changer Award with her movie ‘The Eagle Huntress’, which tells a story of a girl who has trained and hunted with eagles since the age of 10, Montsame state news agency reported.

“The Eagle Huntress is a fine movie. You are demonstrating the courage, bravery and perseverance of women and glorifying Mongolia on the international scene,” said the Prime Minister, congratulating the girl on behalf of the Cabinet. The Prime Minister also conveyed his appreciation to the parents of Aisholpan for bringing up such a gallant daughter.

N.Aisholpan told the Prime Minister that her dream is to become a physician. She has received offers from the Harvard University and the University of Oxford following the release of the movie. “Although acting in a movie is fun, I still want to be a physician,” she told the Prime Minister.

Present at the meeting were G.Soltan, MP, and Kh.Badelkhan, Member of Cabinet, who emphasized the increasing popularity of annual Golden Eagle Festival among tourists and interest of more Kazakh households to teach their daughters the tradition of hunting with eagles.
