AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan are considering the issue of opening the direct flight between Bishkek and Ashgabat, Tazabek reports.

The issue was discussed between Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldayev and his Turkmen colleague Rashid Meredov on the sidelines of the EU – Central Asia conference in Samarkand on November 11.

The talks also focused on Kyrgyz-Turkmen relations in the political, water-energy, cultural and economic spheres.

The diplomats agreed on boosting trade cooperation at the meeting.
