AKIPRESS.COM - Activists said employees of the copper mining company Kazakhmys went on strike in Karaganda region.
According to a source familiar with the situation, miners on the night of November 29 refused to get out of the mine demanding better working conditions.
The civil activists reported about the rally of miners on Facebook. There are dozens of people in the mine on videos and photos posted on Facebook.
The workers also demand increase of salaries and pensions, compensations, simplification of mobile groups, as well as meetings with Chairman of the Board of Directors of the corporation.
The company's press service promised to give the official information later.
