AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on December 26 left for Moscow to attend the informal meeting of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the President's press service said.
The informal meeting of Heads of State of the CIS countries is held at the initiative of one of the CIS member states.
The event is expected to address the results of the Russian chairmanship over the CIS in 2017 and exchange of views on further development of cooperation in various spheres.
The meeting will bring together Presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
