AKIPRESS.COM - The law enforcement officers detained a man suspected of murder of Ulan Saliyev, brother of the former Prosecutor General Aida Salyanova, police reported.

The 31-year-old resident of Bishkek was detained on December 27. He was taken into custody.

During detention, a Makarov's pistol with worn-out numbers and 17 cartridge was seized and sent for examination.

The detainee gives confessions. Investigation is underway.

Ulan Salyanov was killed on November 6, 2017 in his house. The unknown people in masks fired two shots at the 42-year-old Salyanov and fled the scene. Salyanov died of wounds in the hospital. The probe was launched into the murder.
