AKIPRESS.COM - Australia’s fixed broadband is below Kazakhstan on a global ranking of internet speeds, with performance continuing to be below the global average, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
The latest Ookla Speed Test Global Index found that Kazakhstan was among 54 countries and territories that have faster fixed broadband than Australia ranked #55 with an average download speed of 25.88 Mbps and an average upload speed of 9.17 Mbps.
Globally, the average download speed is 40.71 Mbps.
Singapore had the fastest fixed broadband, with average downloads of 161.21 Mbps.
