AKIPRESS.COM - More than 20 contracts totaling $7.5 billion will be signed in the US, said President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev following a meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House on January 16.
Nazarbayev said the biggest oil companies of the US invested $50 billion in Kazakhstan.
"Today we'll take part in the round-table meeting with the huge American businessmen and will sign more than 20 contracts totaling $7.5 billion," Nazarbayev said.
“The contracts will be about purchasing additional Boeing planes ... and assembling 900 new General Electric locomotives in Kazakhstan,” Nazarbayev said.
The President added that Kazakhstan introduced visa-free regime for the citizens of the US and hopes for the same reaction from the US.
