Uzbekistan to render assistance to families of bus fire victims — Ministry of Emergency Situations

AKIPRESS.COM - The bodies of those killed in the bus fire in Aktobe region of Kazakhstan will be delivered to homeland, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan reported.

The governmental commission in cooperation with the representatives of Kazakhstan will be responsible for establishment of reasons of the accident and identities of the citizens of Uzbekistan killed in the bus fire.

The commission was also ordered to organize the delivery of the bodies to homeland and provide the necessary assistance to their families.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan and a special governmental commission on January 18 by the order of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev flew to Aktobe, where a bus fire occurred.

The tragedy happened on January 18 at 10:30 Astana time on 1,068 km of the Samara – Shymkent highway, 10 km from the village of Kalybai (Aktobe region).
