AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan strongly condemns terror attack in Kabul on January 27 killing more than 100 people, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan said in a statement.
A suicide bombing killed 103 people and injured more than 150 others in Kabul on January 27. Attackers drove an ambulance laden with explosives past a police checkpoint in a secure zone, home to government offices and foreign embassies.
"Using ambulance car for criminal purposes is terrible, cynical and despicable," the Kazakh MFA's statement said.
“Kazakhstan states that the people of Afghanistan endured enough violence and is calling on the international community to support this country by expanding regional cooperations and using effective preventive diplomatic tools,” the statement said.
'We express our deep condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased, and wish a speedy recovery for the injured,” the statement added.
