Bank of Mongolia purchases 1.1 tons of gold in January
AKIPRESS.COM - The Bank of Mongolia purchased 1,128 tons of gold as of January 1, 2018 or by 338kg (46.5%) more than previous year.
The Bank of Mongolia said arlier that 682kgs of gold were purchased in the first eleven days of January, Montsame reported.
The gold price has been constantly high at the London Metal Exchange.
In connection to it, the Bank of Mongolia’s average price to purchase gold was at MNT 103,531.75 per gram throughout January.
Moreover, it is expected that high price will further influence on increase of gold purchase.
