AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Khaltmaa Battulga will visit provinces February 10, the state media report.

He will work in Orkhon aimag, in Khuvsgul on Saturday, in Bulgan aimag on Sunday.

President Kh.Battulga is making report on socio-economic, political and current issues during his meeting with citizens and hearing opinions and requests from citizens.

On February 8, President Kh.Battulga familiarized with operations of a winter greenhouse, owned by ‘Tugs Urgats’ LLC, 40kms away from Ulaanbaatar city, Montsame reported.

A fully-automated greenhouse, built in Dutch design, was put into operations in 2016. It makes a possibility to plant cucumber, tomato and other vegetables throughout the year, even in -40 Celsus. The winter greenhouse meets all requirements of modern greenhouse, including heating and irrigation system, air humidity control and others.

Currently, the company plants only cucumber in the 10080 square meter greenhouse and supplies between 300kg and 1.5 tons of cucumber per day to the market.

While seeing the greenhouse operations, the President talked about the state policy on food safety, establishing many winter greenhouses and rendering support to the company to make it capable of providing vegetable needs of Ulaanbaatar citizens first.
