AKIPRESS.COM - Two men wearing women's clothes were detained in Shakhritus district of Khatlon region. Police say they are listed in a wanted list of the law enforcement bodies.

They are local residents born in 1985 and 1983, the Interior Ministry reports.

The two are suspected of attempt to involve citizens in participating in an armed conflict on the territory of another state.

One of the detainees confessed that he is a member of the banned terrorist organization Salafiya and he was going to take several people to Syria for participation in the armed conflicts alongside the terrorists.

Investigation is underway.
