AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan intends to introduce responsibility for visiting brothels for sex as draft amendments are proposed to be made into the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

The Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan published draft amendments for discussion, UzDaily reports. 

According to the draft law, the persons visiting brothels for sex will be fined. The size of fine is equal to one size of minimal salary.

But fine is not it, the person buying sex would also be sent to mandatory medical examination, if the bill is adopted. 

"These people will have to undergo a medical examination for the presence of sexually transmitted diseases and, if they are identified, undergo in-patient treatment in specialized medical institutions," the document reads.
