Belarus proposes to build elevator factory in Ulaanbaatar

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Industry of Belarus Vitali Vovk suggested Mongolia to set up an elevator factory in Ulaanbaatar during his meeting with Mongolian capital's mayor S.Batbold on March 30, Montsame news agency reported.

"We have willingness not only for cooperation in public transport of Ulaanbaatar city and agricultural field, but also for establishing an elevator factory and supplying urban development facilities and equipment. Government of Belarus decided to grant EUR 50 million aid to Mongolia and the two countries have full potential to co-work on wider range," said Vovk.

They parties exchanged views transport cooperation, supplying urban development facilities and equipment, and developing intensive animal farms around the city to improve agricultural productivity.

"We will be happy with cooperating with Belarus in public transport sector, establishing a small-sized elevator factory with reasonable cost and improving dairy farm and intensive farming around the city. I am confident that bilateral cooperation between the two countries will widen in future, said Mayor S.Batbold.

The parties agreed to establish a working group led by T.Gantumur, General Manager of Ulaanbaatar city, to develop joint projects and programs.
