AKIPRESS.COM - Former President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev was elected as a leader of the SDPK party as a result of the congress that took place today in Bishkek.

According to member of the Bishkek City Council Evgenia Berdnikova, the SDPK party members discussed two main issues — the results of activities of the party and election of a leader.

Among the delegates were Salaidin Avazov, Fradi Niyazov, Ainura Temirbekova, Kushbak Tezekbayev.
