AKIPRESS.COM - Lawmaker Kenjebek Bokoyev suggested new Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhammedkaliy Abilgaziyev to sell water to the neighbors.
Kyrgyzstan is the richest in terms of water reserves country in Central Asia, Bokoyev said on April 20 at the extraordinary session of the Parliament.
"You could make an announcement about the sale of water to neighbors because our farmers buy water and neighbors get it for free. It's not fair, the water should be a commodity," he said.
If the electricity is a commodity, then the distribution companies must provide energy infrastructure in the new settlements of Kyrgyzstan, Bokoyev said.
