AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a joint statement as a result of the high level talks in Tashkent, the press service of the Uzbek President said.
They signed 17 other documents on development of inter-regional cooperation, opening of trade houses, organization of a business council, transport, agricultural, scientific, sport and other spheres.
As part of the state visit of Berdimuhamedov, 15 agreements were signed between the higher educational institutions of the two countries, as well as cooperation in the sphere of information and communication technologies.
"The current meeting was very fruitful. We discussed our cooperation in details. There are no unresolved issues anymore," Mirziyoyev noted.
