AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of Lower House of the Irish Parliament Seán Ó Fearghaíl and accompanying delegates are on official visit to Mongolia from April 29 to May 1 at the invitation of the Speaker of Mongolian Parliament M.Enkhbold, Montsame reports.
Following an official welcoming ceremony at Sukhbaatar Square in the morning of April 30, heads of the two parliaments signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, which is seen as an important event to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the legislature and friendly relations between the two states by cooperating for stable development of all relevant sectors.
Present at the signing ceremony were MP and chairwoman of Mongolia-European Parliament Friendship Group N.Oyundari, MP and Deputy Chairman of Mongolia-European Parliament Friendship Group G.Temuulen, Ambassador of Ireland to Mongolia Eoin O’Leary and other officials.
