'Tajikistan precedes China on development rate': Lukashenko
Central Asia | politics | 16:18, 15 May 2018 | 1075

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said he is glad to see the development rate of Tajikistan, which beats China in terms of development during his official trip to Dushanbe, Belta reported.

"This is great. We see how the capital is changing. Even upon arrival at night, I noticed this. And I am once again convinced that you are on the right way," he said at the meeting with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon today.

The heads of state during the meeting accentuated the expansion of trade and economic cooperation.

They will also consider the results and further plans of cooperation in the economic sphere.

Lukashenko paid a particular attention to implementation of the agreement reached during the business forum in Dushanbe.

"We will attract our neighbors in Tajikistan and show our capabilities. Together we will continue moving to other countries, developing trade and economic relations," he said.
