AKIPRESS.COM - Bilateral consultations at the level of the heads of the relevant departments of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Romania were held in Budapest on May 25, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said.
During the consultations, delegations discussed ties between Turkmenistan and the European Union amid Romania's upcoming chairmanship in the Council of the European Union in 2019.
The sides also exchanged views on the processes taking place in the Middle East.
The Turkmen side told about international initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan regarding Afghanistan and the large-scale infrastructural projects carried out in the region, the statement said.
