Mongolian NEMA officers to train in Kyrgyzstan

Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan have agreed to intensify cooperation in the field of dealing with emergency situations.The agreement was reached during a meeting between NEMA head, Tuvshun Badral, and visiting State Secretary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Azamat Muratovich Mambetov, in Ulaanbaatar, news.mn reports.

During the meeting, they signed an action plan (2018-2020) to implement a memorandum of understanding which was concluded in 2016 by the two sides with the aim of enhancing cooperation in preventing and dealing with emergencies.

The Kyrgyz side has also invited four Mongolian rescuers to participate in the third international divers training for rescue services of the International Civil Defence Organization member states which will take place in Cholpon-Ata, a resort town in northern Kyrgyzstan from 20 July to 1 August.
