AKIPRESS.COM - Heavy rainfall of unprecedented intensity caused flash flooding in several parts of Mongolia affecting more than 792 households across Mongolia, news.mn reports.
Following the heavy rainfall, the main towns of the Khovd, Bayan-Ulgii, Zavkhan, Uvurkhangai Provinces and the Khan-Uul District of Ulaanbaatar were hit by floods.
Over 210 families have lost their homes, over 700 livestock have perished, and at least 55 hectares of agricultural land has been destroyed.
