Kyrgyzstanis will celebrate Eid al-Adha on August 21

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstanis have 4 days-off on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha, the Ministry of Labor reports.

Kyrgyzstanis will celebrate Eid al-Adha on August 21.

Monday, August 20 and Tuesday, August 21 are days off but Kyrgyzstanis will have to work on September 22, Saturday. 

Eid al-Adha, a Festival of Sacrifice, is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year (the other being Eid al-Fitr), and considered the holier of the two. It honors the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God’s command.
