Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents credentials to President Putin

AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Uzbekistan Botirjon Asadov presented his credentials to President Vladimir Putin in Kremlin on October 11, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.

“Uzbekistan is a strategic partner and ally of Russia. Bilateral relations are deepening in all key spheres: political, trade-economic, military-technical, cultural and humanitarian," President Putin said.

President Putin said he expects substantial talks with President Mirziyoyev during his upcoming officia visit to Tashkent this veek, when the Presidents will attend the opening ceremony of the forum of interregional cooperation and will launch construction of Rosatom first nuclear power station in Uzbekistan.
