Mongolian Parliament passes state budget 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolian Parliament passed the state budget 2019 with revenues of MNT 9.6 trillion (27.4% of GDP) and expenditures of MNT 11.5 trillion (32.8%).

Forecast for budget deficit is  MNT 1.913 trillion or 5.4% to the GDP.

MNT 720 billion will be allocated for raising salary of public workers, MNT41 billion for student scholarships, MNT189 billion for construction of 117 schools, 144 kindergartens, 34 dormitories, 61 hospitals and 50 national and local roads throughout the country.

A major part of the budget deficit is formed by the project implemented with foreign loans including on construction of new wastewater treatment plant of Ulaanbaatar city and Ulaanbaatar-Darkhan auto road projects, Montsame reports.
