AKIPRESS.COM - People are lining up for bread at public stores in Ashgabat while prices for bread have been raised by private providers, Chronicles of Turkmenistan reports.
Public stores quickly run out of bread. The bread is delivered twice a day. Sellers sell one flat bread per person. Families having 4 or more members have to come together and stand in lines twice a day.
People have to wait for the bread for a long time sometimes when the bread trucks fall behind the schedule of deliveries.
Long lines for bread can be seen almost near all public stores.
Some bread stores are reportedly closed for several days. Several bakeries closed.
