Belarus and Kazakhstan will produce drones together

AKIPRESS.COM - Belarus and Kazakhstan will produce drones together, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus has said.

Alexander Turchin said his county's drones will be made in Kazakhstan.

Cooperation in manufacturing, agriculture and transport, investment cooperation, IT, space industry, and high technologies are the priority areas of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Belarus, he said at the meeting of the Belarus-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission on November 26, Belta reports.

He expressed willingness to jointly expand the potential of free economic zone Khorgos - Eastern Gate on the Kazakh-Chinese border and the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, for his part, backed the suggestion to expand cooperation in manufacturing with Belarus.

Kazakhstan is also interested in transport of containers by railroad between Europe and China, advance investment cooperation, and sell more Kazakh products on the Belarusian market. A roadmap to guide Belarus-Kazakhstan cooperation in 2019-2020 is supposed to be signed as a result of the session.
