AKIPRESS.COM - Over 400 lost passports of Kyrgyz citizens were found on the territory of the Osh bazaar only in 2 months of 2018, the State Registration Service said.
Registrar offices' employees actively cooperate with the law enforcement bodies to identify lost documents and update the database of the lost and found office, the statement said.
Lenin district police transferred 398 lost passports of Kyrgyz citizens, 7 - ID cards, 14 - driver's licenses, 2 - student IDs, and 2 documents of foreign citizens on December 5.
The department of population registration found lost 1,058 documents between January 1 - December 1, 2018 and 460 documents were returned.
