President of Turkmenistan strikes again with brand new song in 3 languages

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sang another song with his grandson. The new song is written by himself in three languages.

According to the official Turkmen media, the song titled "dream" (Arzuw) was performed by the duet of his grandson and him on December 21 at the solemn event on the occasion of the upcoming new year in Ashgabat. The event was attended by the members of the government, parliament, law enforcement bodies, ministries, social organizations, local and foreign diplomats, as well as cultural and art figures.

Berdimuhamedov is the author of the text, while music is by his grandson Kerimguly, according to the official Turkmen media.

This is not the first public performance of Berdimuhamedov: his patriotic song "go, go homeland Turkmenistan!" released in November 2015 became an anthem of the Asian Games 2017 held in Ashgabat.

In the spring 2018, Berdimuhamedov released a cover of the Soviet hit "Karakum."

The state media of Turkmenistan try to potray Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as a all arounder personality. He is not only interested in music, but also sings songs and can DJ. Berdimuhamedov is a PhD of Medicine and Economics, Academician and General of the Army. He is involved in sports, auto racing, writes books and is big in horse breeding, according to the Turkmen media.
