2018 was full of significant events in Kyrgyzstan and we covered all of them.

Audience is the most important thing for AKIpress just like for any other news agency. Without the audience we have today, we wound't be able to produce more than 500 news items every day.
According to Google Analytics, one of the web analytics services we use to measure our audience and pageviews, the number of unique visitors of Russian edition of AKIpress surpassed 20 million growing by 33% from 15 million in 2017.
Pageviews of AKIpress reached than 263 million against 233 million in 2017.

The record high pageviews a day reached 1 million.
On June 13 and October 24, the number of users surpassed 350,000 a day. June 2018 saw the arrest of former Prime Minister Sapar Isakov, ex-mayor Kubanychbek Kulmatov, and interrogation of former Prime Ministers Jantoro Satybaldiyev and Temir Sariyev, and others. In October, the number of unique visitors hiked due to the criminal news.

The number of followers on Facebook (facebook.com/akipress) is more than 105k.
The number of followers of AKIpress on Twitter (twitter.com/akipress) grew to 53.5k a year.
