Kyrgyzstan denies owning Boeing 707 cargo plane that crashed in Iran (see photos from scene)

AKIPRESS.COM - Boeing 707 cargo plane that crashed in Iran on January 14 does not belong to Kyrgyzstan, the Manas International Airport said in a statement after Iranian media reported that the plane belonged to Kyrgyzstan.

The plane was operating a charter flight Tehran-Bishkek-Payam that took off from Bishkek at 07:16 am on January 14.

The plane with 10 people on board crashed in Karaj near Tehran.

The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Akyshev said there is no official data on the plane crash yet.

"The military Iranian aircraft carrying meat took off from Kyrgyzstan. We will release official information when we will have one," he said.
