AKIPRESS.COM - Russian state-controlled gas firm Gazprom has confirmed resumption of gas exports to Russia from Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan on Monday resumed natural gas exports to Russia that had been suspended for more than three years, local private news website Orient.tm reported, citing Turkmen authorities.
Russia and Turkmenistan established gas cooperation by signing of the agreement in 2003.
Gazprom suspended buying Turkmen gas in 2016. It was reported in March 2019 that Gazprom intends to resume purchases of gas from Turkmenistan.
