AKIPRESS.COM - The new ethnopark was opened on May 6 at the intersections of Ankara and Vinogragnaya streets in Bishkek.
According to Bishkekzelekhoz municipal enterprise, the park has not been maintained for over 25 years. Reconstruction began in April by employees of 3 municipal services as Bishkekzelekhoz, Tazalyk and Bishkeksvet.
The woodworkers and employees of Bishkekzelekhoz created designs from wood in ethno theme for 3 months. 3 wood komuzs, watermill, swings, benches and pine bridges were installed in the park. In addition, the employees laid path from river rocks across the park’s territory.
Tazalyk paved sidewalk with sett and Bishkeksvet illuminated and installed lamp posts.
Bishkekzelenkhoz noted that the location of the park was chosen in order to increase the recreation areas in the residential areas of the capital and create corners for residents' leisure.
The work was conducted under the control of the vice-mayor for housing and communal services Ryspek Sarpashov.
Currently, the work on the arrangement of new recreation areas in 3 different areas of the city is under way.
