Mongolia appoints its Cultural Envoy to the US

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolian film producer D.Angarag was appointed as a Cultural Envoy of Mongolia to the United States of America, Montsame reports.

A certificate was presented to him during the opening ceremony of ‘Mongolian Heritage Days’ on April 23 at the World Bank Headquarter in Washington, D.C.

Director Angarag has been working actively in film industry of Mongolia since 2000 and he was recognized to public with his film ‘Children of Genghis’.

The newly appointed Cultural Envoy of Mongolia plans to promote arts and culture of Mongolia in the world, develop people-to-people relations of the two countries, as well as to hold Mongolian Cinema Days, conduct training and seminars, produce a movie, implement a project and conduct exhibition.
