AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan's capital will host on May 29 the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council devoted to 5th anniversary of the signing of the agreement on Eurasian Economic Union.
The meeting will be chaired by Kazakh president Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and will be attended by ex-president Nursultan Nazarbayev, presidents of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Armenia. President of Moldova Igor Dodon will attend the meeting as head of the observer nation and president of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon as the guest of honor.
They are expected to discuss key issues of the union, macroeconomic policy of the EAEU for 2019-2020.
A joint statement on 5th anniversary of the signing of the agreement on Eurasian Economic Union and other documents are expected to be signed following the meeting.
