
AKIPRESS.COM - Disguised as alleged Mongolian diplomats, two men have attempted to smuggle 70 kilograms of heroin worth at least three million euros in Dresden, Germany, AFP reports.
Dresdner customs investigators came to the two suspects in an inspection of a coming from the Czech Republic cars with diplomatic plates on the highway 17 on the tricks, as they announced on Wednesday. The two suspects were citizens of Mongolia.
German Foreign Ministry denied that the car and men were diplomatically accredited in Germany.
140 bags containing 500 grams of heroin each were found inside the car.
Investigation is under way.
