AKIPRESS.COM - The delegation of the Tajikistan’s embassy to Turkey visited Gaziantep region on June 18-19. The delegation was accompanied by Mr.Mahmud Er, Chairman of the Council of Entrepreneurs of Turkey and Tajikistan, Tajik Foreign Ministry reports. 

During the visit, the delegation held meetings with the Chairman of the Gaziantep region Mr. Davut Gul, Deputy Mayor of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mr. Usmon Toprak, Chairman of the Chamber of Industry of Gaziantep Mr. Adnan Unverdi and Chairman of the South-Eastern Union of Exporters of Anatolia (GAİB) Mr. Ahmet Kaplan.

During the talks, a wide range of issues on cooperation between the two countries was discussed; in particular, the parties discussed cooperation with the Gaziantep region in trade, economic, investment, educational spheres, as well as in the sphere of culture and tourism and the prospects of this cooperation.

The delegation of the Tajikistan’s embassy and Turkish partners - the Chairman of the Council of Entrepreneurs of Turkey and Tajikistan, the Trade Representative of Turkey in Tajikistan and other employees of the DEİK met with the entrepreneurs of the region, during which the investment opportunities of Tajikistan were presented.
