AKIPRESS.COM - The third Mongolia-China expo will be held this September in Hohhot, the capital of China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, news.mn reports.

The biannual event is a great opportunity for Mongolia to diversify exports to China as well as expanding economic cooperation.

China has been Mongolia’s biggest trading partner and top export market destination for almost two decades, and mining products have accounted for the majority of the Mongolian total exports.

Mongolia and China have set a 10-billion-U.S.-dollar target for bilateral trade by 2020.
