4.6 magnitude earthquake occurs in Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM - The Department of Seismology at the Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics reports that a 4.6 magnitude earthquake occurred at an area 5 km away from Bayantsogt soum of Tuv aimag at 11:47 pm, yesterday on July 18, Montsame reports.

The institute has recorded 7 earthquake occurrences in May, and one in June in Mongolia, with the most recent ones having taken place near Saikhan-Ovoo soum of Dundgobi aimag, Altai soum of Gobi-Altai aimag, Zag soum of Bayankhongor aimag, and Umnudelger soum of Khentii aimag.
