UNFPA invests over $131 thousand in Khuvsgul province of Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM - In the framework of the project, ‘Introducing new technologies in management of mother and child health care’, a total of over MNT 350 million has been invested by UNFPA in Khuvsgul province of Mongolia, Montsame reported.

Thus, a workforce led by Deputy Minister of Health L.Byambasuren and Head of UNFPA Office in Mongolia Kaori Ishikawa worked in Khuvsgul province attending the opening ceremony of a training department for intensive care for mothers and infants which was furnished in the framework of the project.

The province hospital has been provided with the latest long-distance diagnosis equipment financed by the project since 2017.
